Project Details

MDIS was contacted to assist in designing, programming, and outfitting the low voltage systems at a new construction private school in Southfield, MI. The project consisted of pre-wiring of category and multi-conductor cabling for network, audio-visual, and distributed IP clock systems.

Valcom clock and paging systems were outfitted throughout the 2-story school in the common areas, assembly areas, classrooms, and hallways for the students' bells, lunchtime, start/end day messages. These IP clocks allow for precise synchronization of times, as well as easy scheduled routine adjustments for daylight savings time.

MDF/IDF rack locations were outfitted with low voltage systems in order to comply with the run constraints of the products in the aforementioned areas.

MDIS was pleased to assist with this project and proud of how the installation quality turned out for the customer and how it will be utilized to assist in the education of students for generations to come.
