Metro Detroit Integrated Systems worked with an international automaker, to outfit one of its executive conference rooms with a comprehensive Automation, and Audio/Video setup.
The system features (1) breathtaking 98” Phillips D-Line Ultra-High Definition display at the front of the room, as well as (2) 65” displays along a side wall for easy visibility for those in the rear of the space. Sound is provided using flush mounted JBL ceiling speakers. Sound is discretely captured using Shure tabletop “puck” microphones to aid with in-room speech reinforcement. All of the Audio/Video equipment is controlled via a comprehensive automation setup that was custom programmed for this space, featuring an intuitive table-top touch screen and processor by AMX. This enables users to power on all the displays, and choose between an in-room PC or a wireless source such as a laptop for each of the displays in the room.
The Audio/Video setup was very well received at the facility’s grand opening, and all in all, everybody is pleased with and proud of the end result.
The system will serve as a valuable collaboration space for our customer for many years to come.
